I was in the industry for many years (a while back). You get what you pay for. While VZ is the most expensive (ATT may be the same or a close 2nd) it is also the "best". I have VZ now and travel the US for work. It has the best voice and text coverage, best 4G LTE coverage and some of the fastest speeds. I hate them (almost as much as comcast) but if you travel its the way to go.
If you dont travel, as long as T-Mo covers you area, they would be a #2 for me.
If price is the #1 motivator, Cellular One or Straight Talk is the way to go.
Thanks for this info...I'm a senior and wanted to get my first smartphone... Verizon (chat) said they did not carry either of the top 2 phones listed as easiest for a senior to learn to use.. So I found a phone named Jitterbug Smart 2.. My reading the internet was that it was not only the easiest for a senior to learn on.. (The interface is extremely user friendly AND it's on THE VERIZON Network--Yippee, I'm thinking) Into Verizon I go and am almost totally ignored and pushed out the store as they never heard of it. Today I called the company that makes it. Greatcall! I was told that they use the exact same towers that Verizon has, but the phone doesn't come from them.... Learning the hard way I guess..
